This historic lounge was named in honor of Sigmund Freud, the world-famous neurologist, psychologist and founder of the science of psychoanalysis. During his lifetime, Sigmund Freud was treated several times in our spa city, where he chose the Rudolfshof Spa House, which is now an integral part of the Carlsbad Plaza Medical Spa & Wellness Hotel, for one of his stays.
